Ten years ago, Jodie Dang Architects began with a simple belief: homes to be beautiful, comfortable, and better for the environment.

Today, it's an honour to have reached this decade-long milestone and continue to design sustainable homes across Sydney and work with incredible clients, consultants, builders, and suppliers who share that vision.To our clients, we want to thank each and every one of you who trusted us with your homes. Inviting an architect into such a personal part of your life is a privilege we never take for granted. Every project has become part of our story, and it has been a wonderful, heart-filling journey to help create homes where families will make memories for years to come.

A new chapter: Sharing how we build

Over the past decade, we've learnt that great architecture is never created alone. Every project is shaped by a team – from structural engineers and builders to tile suppliers, flooring specialists, electricians and joiners who help bring each home to life.

That's why our next chapter is about sharing more of what happens behind the scenes.

We're opening up our process by sharing the consultants, contractors, and suppliers we've worked with on our projects. If you see a home on our website that inspires you, you're welcome to contact us and we'll happily share the consultant team and key suppliers who helped make it happen.

We want sustainable buildings to feel more, accessible, and easier for others to achieve too. This shouldn't be just for our clients, but all other architects, builders, and developers. 

Passive House shouldn't be a secret

Passive House has been seen as something exclusive, too niche, too complicated, or too expensive. But that’s really not the case. 

We've delivered Passive House homes at costs comparable to many custom homes because we've worked alongside the right people from the beginning. Smart planning, experienced consultants, skilled builders, and trusted suppliers make all the difference. At Jodie Dang Architects, we believe this  knowledge shouldn't be a secret

Looking ahead

As we celebrate ten years, we're committing to sharing more of what we've learnt from design decisions and construction details to the people and products that help create low energy homes.
